1. Height Difference Between the Pump and the Suction Surface Is Too High
If you use the 24v water pump to absorb water, please confirm whether the height difference between the pump and the suction surface is too high (Generally we do not recommend to exceed 3 meters). Because if the water absorption height is too high, cavitation may occur, and there may be abnormal noises in the pump cavity at this time.
2. Pump Chamber Is not Exhausted
Please confirm that the pump chamber has been exhausted before the operation. If it is not exhausted, there will be air in it and there will be noise.
3. Suction Pipe Is Exposed In the Air
Please confirm whether the suction pipe is occasionally exposed out of the water surface, causing abnormal noise caused by inhaling air when absorbing water. If so, you should avoid exposing the water inlet part of the pump in the air.
4. Large Impurities In the Liquid
When the pump rotor is running at a high speed, impurities in the liquid will hit the rotor, resulting in impact sound and abnormal noise. At this time, you should use clean water with lower impurity content, or add a filter to solve the problem of high noise of the pump.
5. Manufacturing Accuracy Issue
If all the above reasons may be ruled out, please disassemble the pump head, rotate the pump rotor by hand, rotate slowly, and pay attention to whether there is obvious friction in a place. If so, it is a problem with the manufacturing accuracy of the rotor or the manufacturing accuracy of the shaft. 1. When operating the pump, you should transform the dc power to 24V DC voltage and then power the 24 volt dc water pump.
2. Please Put the 24 volt DC pump out of the box and find out the power cord positive and negative electrodes; The red line is for the positive polarity, the black line is for the negative polarity (if the wires are other colors, it also will be marked the positive and negative poles, please check the test report attached with the goods).
3. Put one-third of the pump body in to water. Please do not put the whole body into water, if the pump is not a submersible, in case the pump burns off. However, the inlet of the pump should be in water.
4. Connect the positive pole of the power wire to the cathode of the pump, the negative pole to the anode of the pump, so that the pump can start and operate normally.
5. Please try to use the DC pump pump clean water instead of pump sewage so as to avoid the pump blocking by solid or dirty substances.
6. Please operate the pump within the specifications that we offered, please check the test report when receiving the pump .

How to Repair a 24V Water Pump?
Except for the use failure caused by congenital defects caused by manufacturing, as a kind of DC water pump, 24v water pump especially the brushless DC motor drive water pump. Generally speaking, it is very difficult for the water pump to fail. However, there will also be faults caused by the misuse of the operator, so how do you repair the water pump when this fault occurs? Let me tell you one by one:
1. Empty Water that In the Pump Chamber
If there is residual water in the 24v dc water pump chamber , please empty it completely .
2. Disassemble the Pump In Sequence
You should disassemble the pump in sequence, if it easy to be disassembled. Clean the parts after disassembly, and then check them one by one to see if there are any defects such as cracks, damage and wear. If there are serious defects, they you should replace the component with a new one .
3. Replace Bearing
If you find the bearing is worn or the surface has spots and looseness, then replace it.
4. Check Impeller
Please check whether there are cracks and corroded holes on the impeller and whether the fixing nut of the impeller is loose. If it is loose, tighten the screw.
5. Replace Shaft
Please check whether the pump shaft is bent or worn. The bending of the pump shaft should not exceed 0.05mm, otherwise you should repair it or replace it.
6. Replace Pump Housing
Check The 24v water pump casing may be ruptured if it is impacted by water hammer or if the accumulated water is not released in time in the severe cold winter, you should replace it with a new one or repair it.
How to Maintain a 24V Water Pump?

1. Drain the Remaining Water
Drain the remaining water in the water pump and pipeline after each use of the 24V dc pump.
2. Clean the 24v DC Water Pump
You can disassemble and clean the 24v dc water pump and pipeline, if the disassembly is convenient.
3. Check All the Components.
Check whether there are cracks or small holes on the impeller, and whether the screws on the pump head are loose. If there is any damage, you should repair or replace it. 4. Seal the Pump Outlet and Inlet

5. Prevent Screws from Rusting
Remove all the screws when 24v pump not in use for a long time, and clean them with a wire brush, and apply oil before installing them on the pump. This can prevent the screws from rusting and cannot be removed when the water pump is not used for a long time. Can You Run a 24 Volt Pump on 12 Volts?
When you buy back a 24 volt pump, you may find that I don’t have a 24v power supply, but only have a 12v power supply at hand. So, you will ask if I can use a 12 volt power supply to power the 24v water pump? This question is a frequently asked question by many users including you and our pump customers, and here is a detailed answer for you regarding this question.
Generally speaking, you can run a 24 Volt pump on 12 Volts, because 12v voltage is within the safe working voltage of the water pump and the possible starting voltage range of the water pump. However, since the 12 Volts voltage is much lower than its 24v rated working voltage, the input power of the pump will be much smaller than the rated input power of the pump. As a result, the working speed of the pump will be greatly reduced, the speed will be very slow, the power output will be insufficient, and the working flow and head performance of the pump will not be able to meet your needs. Some even make it more difficult to start the water pump, resulting in large battery loss. It will reduce the pump working speed a lot after using 12V power supply, power drops, current increases, operation is powerless. Therefore, we do not recommend that you use 12v power supply to drive a 24v water pump.
How Long Can a 24V DC Water Pump Run Continuously?
You may often consider the service life of the water pump and the continuous working time of the water pump, when choosing a water pump. So how long can the 24V water pump work? The working time of the 24v DC pump depends on the type of pump, installation, usage, and the size of impurities in the working fluid. Generally speaking, a 24v brushless DC water pump can work continuously for 24 hours a day and continuously for more than 5 years, if it is pumping pure water and its working water temperature is within the pump’s allowable working temperature. However, a 24V brushed DC water pump can only work continuously for about 2000 hours, and the continuous working capacity and service life are much shorter than that of the 24V brushless DC water pump.
