How to Install and Use of Electric Well Water Pump?

Electric well Water pump is a kind of electric water pump which are divided into DC water pump and AC water pump. DC water pumps are widely used in home appliances, bathrooms, automotive water cooling systems and other places powered by DC power, while AC electric water pumps are used in AC power applications.

People can install electric well water pumps on hand-pressure water wells (commonly known as foreign wells) to replace hand-pressure water pumping. When there is a power outage or a small amount of water is used, hand pressure water pumping is still used. You can also install Electric water pumps in earthen wells, ponds, and rivers to pump water. It is suitable for small gardens and small nurseries, as well as rural “two-household” flour mills, tofu mills, wineries, and pig and chicken farms. Farmers who have 220-volt AC lighting electricity can install this single-phase electric water pump. Take B03 and B05 water pumps as examples for introduction as follows:

1. Remove the Wellhead of the Hand-Operated Water Well

When installing, first remove the wellhead of the hand-operated water well, connect the three-way pipe to the well pipe, connect the upper outlet to the wellhead, and connect the horizontal outlet to the water pump (see the schematic diagram). During the installation process, we should seal the pipe joints well, and there must be no air leakage, otherwise it will affect the pumping volume or even fail to pump water.

2. Water diversion and exhaust

You should divert the hand-operated water well to fill the well pipe with water, and then fill it with water from the water outlet of the water pump to remove the air in the pump. Only then you can start the motor.

3. Start

Turn the switch clockwise to the “start” position (this position cannot be kept for more than 3 seconds, otherwise it is easy to burn the motor), and then immediately turn it clockwise to the “open” position to operate normally.

4. Stop

Turn the switch clockwise to the “stop” position to stop the motor immediately. If you need to remove the water pump, you should first turn off the power. After removing the water pump, pour out the water in the pump body and store it in a dry place. The three-way pipe on the hand-operated well should be covered with a cap.

5. Earth well installation

Erect a nylon pipe or iron pipe from the well edge to the well, and install a check valve at the lower end of the pipe to prevent the water in the water pump and the pipe from flowing back. So that it is easy to fill water and exhaust air into the pump, and water can be sucked up quickly when starting.

Storage

After electric well water pump is out of service, we should remove the water pump and rubber hose from the well. After draining the water, check the wear degree of the water pump impeller, bearings, cups and other parts. Replace the parts if pump with serious damage. Clean the bearings with gasoline, apply butter, and install them properly. Remove the rust on the iron castings such as the bottom valve and elbow of the water pump with a wire brush and apply butter. Also we should start it every 7 to 10 days, usually after about 30 minutes, to prevent the rotating parts from rusting. If it is out of service for a long time, you should extract the electric well water pump from the well, inspect and storage it in the warehouse.
